what's up my broga?

There were better photos, of course, sharper, crisper, better composed etc, etc, but I love the pink, blue and muted red here...they speak of nostalgia and good times.

Morning rush hour

I am fortunate to be able to avoid rush hour as I don't work the usual 9-5. But occasionally, I have to get across town to some godforsaken place at some ungodly hour, and remember that KL traffic issues are truly nothing to be sneezed at.

ps: I love that tree at the back, the one that fans out. I have taken countless photos of it, for years.

Prayers before pandemonium

While these people performed a solat hajat in hopes that the judgment would be in their favour, the boys in yellow were happy to make a ruckus singing "Inilah Barisan Kita" and yelling "Daulat Tuanku".

An indicator of the differences between the two sides of the political spectrum perhaps?

(another disclaimer, okay, okay, putrajaya is not KL...but close enough lah...)

Some other favourites from Thaipusam

(Brightness and contrats fixed...naturally)

Religion and economics

Going to cleanse your soul and give thanks to Lord Murugan? You'll need some neon flowers.

(Brightness and contrast fixed using Photoshop 7)

Not a place for peace and quiet

About This Blog

KL in Photos is a personal homage to the city I love.

Photos are usually not digitally edited but sometimes I get a bit diligent and fix it for brightness and contrast.

Most are taken using my handy blackberry camera, some with a Canon powershot.

All within Klang Valley (which would include Shah Alam, Putrajaya, Ampang, Petaling Jaya, Klang etc.)
