growing up too soon

Little girls line up to be made up for a kindergarten concert.

I have yet to understand the need for make up at school concerts.

It's hardly normal for children to have rouge and eye-liner on, least of all if they're playing caterpillars.

Leaving home at dusk I risk a traffic collision by fishing through my bag to find my camera.

I have seen many a sunsets across the globe, but sometimes, a KL sunset still catches me off guard with its breathless beauty.

Making way for Sentul East

Kampung Tanah Lapang in Sentul Timur was to be demolished so they can plant more trees in what is fast becoming YTL's yuppie land.

But a small reprieve was won. Next week will be another battle.

I have no solution for this urban conundrum...this process of "gentrification" which drives many out of their ancestral homes.
